The rodeo grounds are cash only (ticket, t-shirts, dance tickets), some vendors in vendor alley may take credit cards.

While at the Rodeo: 

Q. How do I get wristbands that are required to attend Friday and Saturday Night events for ages 7 and up (6 and under are Free). 

A.  Pre-sale tickets July 1 - 11 at Cadence Bank, Mason Bank and The Commercial Bank

Friday Rodeo Ticket: $10.00 

Friday Dance Ticket: $10.00 

Saturday Rodeo Ticket: $10.00 

Saturday Dance Ticket: $10.00 

 or purchase them upon arrival to the rodeo grounds when the gates open at 5PM.

 All sales are final.​​​​ No refunds due to weather. 


Q. Where is the Event Located? 

A. At the Mason Rodeo Arena located inside the Fort Mason City Park. 

    1015 San Antonio Hwy, Mason, TX 76856


Q. Where and how much is the parking? 

A. Parking is at the rodeo grounds and opens on Friday and Saturday at 5PM, parking is FREE.


Q. How can I buy tickets online. 

A. You can not. 


Q. What forms of payment are accepted? 

A. Cash for tickets and concession stand, some vendors may have the option for credit cards.


Q. Can I bring my own cooler? 

A. Yes, there is no charge to bring a cooler to the rodeo, but there is a $20 charge to bring a cooler into the Dance(s) this will be available onsite during the rodeo at the tent on the SE side of the arena or at the Gate at the Dance. Coolers should not be larger than 36 quarts.

Rodeo Cooler policy: coolers are permitted at the rodeo grounds, but they can be no larger than 16 quarts. 

Outside food is not permitted. 


Q. How do I sign my child up for Mutton Bustin'? 

A. In advance at Mason Bank or The Commercial Bank - July 1st 9AM - July 11th at Noon.

The cost is FREE (THANKS to the Sponsor HCTC) to enter. Only one entry per child will be allowed.  Registration is first come first serve.  

Just some reminders before you sign up! 

Kids ages of 4 – 8 years old only 

Kids must weigh 55 lbs or less the day of the event. (Scale will be used to verify.)

Weigh-in will be during the check in process. 

Protective helmet and vest must be worn to participate (provided at event.) 

You must check in 15 minutes prior to your spot or you could forfeit participation if there is a wait list. 

 There are approximately 18 entries per heat. 


Q. How do I sign my child up for the Calf Scramble? 

A. You DON'T, it is FREE and kids ages 6-12 are welcome to participate. 


Q. Are pets allowed on the Rodeo grounds?​​

A. Please leave your pets at home. Pets may spook the rodeo livestock causing injury to themselves or others.


Handicap parking and seating is located on the Southwest side of the arena. 


Currently the rodeo grounds are cash only, some vendors in vendor alley may take credit cards. 


Folks that conduct themselves in a disorderly fashion will be asked to leave.
